Affectionately called my “little glass orbs,” I began painting ornaments in 2018 after a long day of appointments at my spa. I have no explanation as to why, except to say inspiration struck—and I followed it.

Painting them was so enjoyable that I lost track of time and painted into the morning. The next day, I brought them into the spa, and the rest is history.

Since then, I’ve painted what seems like a small sea of ornaments each year. Eight years later, I still love the process and the surprise of seeing how each one turns out. The collection features mostly camellias, along with a few limited-edition fruits each year.

Each ornament is a tiny original painting unto itself—hand-painted on glass, archival sealed, signed, finished with a fabric ribbon and ready to hang. Each is individually boxed and ready for gifting.

Clients have collected my Christmas ornaments year after year, and I’m delighted that they are also carried in select South Carolina shops.
